Hey guys,
I just watch the BIS gameplay and he mentioned that the terrain generation was fairly limited and simplistic. It appears as though the only way of adding foliage to the enclosures is via an area coverage tool. Whilst I actually like this as an option, I would LOVE to see an option to place individual plants down and other features such as rocks and logs etc.
My wildest dream for this game is to create truly unique enclosures for the animals. For example, I would love to make a Dilphosaurus enclosure based off the one described in the books and shown in the movies, and/or attempt to recreate areas seen in the movies. Planet coaster fundamentally allows to create anything, and obviously I didnt expect an identical level of customization. However, I'm slightly concerned about the lack of environmental and enclosure customization seen in the gameplay shown so far. I'm totally aware that what has been shown is just the cusp of what is available; not to mention that game is still months away from release. The game also looks phenomenal and I'm so excited to play it.
I just have a few more things I'd love:
-Day/night cycle
-option for blood/gore
-really good visitor AI
- first person mode to wander around the park in analogous to Planet Coaster
Thank you very much Frontier. I can see the effort and love you've put into this. This is the game I've waited for my entire life!
