Python - 57 million credits
Krait MKII - 46 million credits

Krait MK II fit the same roles as the Python and is better.

Discuss.

I reckon if you gave folks the opportunity for 10m credits they could buy an extra slot on their ship many would jump for it.

Voila! A krait becomes a python (sort of)

The prices are fair. The Python is a much more flexible ship than its competitors: Krait, Orca, Clipper, FGS, Chieftain. Even though it costs more, it's able to do a lot more without sacrificing as much.

The Krait only comes close in combat.

I don't think the price needs adjusting, nor do I think the differences in price are meaningful in the current state of the game.

To elaborate on my first post: I recently took on a wing of three condas (elite, deadly, dangerous) with my Python and won. It was close though. I almost lost my shields at one point, used all but one of my 2 C6 SCB charges, and all three of my heat sinks. And I was exhausted. :)

There is no way I'd attempt that in my Krait. I'm just not that good of a pilot I guess.

You see, I took mine swapped out all the engineered modules and weapons from my Python into it and felt it was much more agile and combat orientated than the Py. Dogfighting in close quarters with FAS etc didn't seem much of a problem and iirc this was not the Py's best suit???
