CV1 and gray out

This Vid is showing the flare / god ray but any DK2 owner knows what Grey out was in Elite where the color went all washed out when you were you had your head at certain angles etc.

In the Vid at around 11 secs kind of looks like gray out, is this still happening with the CV1 ?

I agree it does Grey Out at that point. However, where does it say it's a CV1 being used and not a DK2?
Bear in mind there is Glare on the DK2 since 1.3 was released.
I wouldn't jump to any conclusion yet.

is there anyway to disable this greyout effect for us third world hmd users that dont have positional tracking? my e2 looks like its constantly greyed out and my vive is on a three legged donkey from Taiwan.
