CV1 and original purchase of ED

So, I was surprised to see there was no Oculus option on the settings when I loaded it up with my shiny new CV1 attached.

I did have this working with the old DK2 back in the day but when I've looked into it, I've ended up generating a key on my (frontier) account and redeemed it on the (oculus store) account and have had to download the whole game again via the oculus store.. is this right?

Should I get rid of the old game using the old launcher and run it from the oculus downloaded version now?

That's because you are supposed to select HMD Headphones.
Play it from the launcher.

You also need to enable "unknown sources" in the oculus settings.

Did all that. Will have another try from the launcher.

However it's somewhat moot now as it's dropping frames and not really playable at the moment.

I also have a duplicate download pending in Oculus .
But I am able to play ED from the launcher and if I set the VR mode on it all works just fine.
I would like to redirect Oculus to look for ED in its current installed location.
At the moment I have a 15GB download pending, which I'd like to stop just to stop it annoying me.
Anyone any hints?
