CV1 gush - Mitterand Hollow in VR is pant poopingly impressive

Just wanted to share how utterly astonished I am with my new VR setup with one small example (one of many) that I'm sure has been done to death but worth mentioning again - at 2am last night, I was "stood" on the surface of Mitterand Hollow in the debug cam, next to my SRV, admiring myself and my little buggy, and the gorgeous long shadows cast by the sun low on the horizon, then literally gasped with slack jawed amazement at the massive planet rising beyond the distant mountains and wheeling overhead at superfast speed, the audio rumbling as the surface was plunged into darkness for a few seconds- absolutely terrifying and awesome in equal measure. This should definitely be a stop off for new VR users if you've not been before - I remember thinking it was impressive on my monitor - I had no idea. I really hope they don't fix this 'bug' it is too amazing to lose..

Its actually a rapidly orbiting moon very close to an inhabited planet, that goes round every minute or so - it moves so fast just landing on it can be a challenge, but when you're on the surface, the planet appears to fly around you, and is absolutely enormous and terrifying - I think it was confirmed as a bug, but I think it was also decided to leave it be because its so fun.

Google it for videos.. or save the surprise, and drop what your doing and go visit it - especially in VR! its not far out at all, firmly in the bubble..

Its best not to chase after it but sit in its orbit line and wait for it to come to you. Faster that way. I haven't been their with my rift yet. But certainly plan to soon.

Went there tonight very cool tricky to land let it come to you seemed to be the best way because it is so fast. On your way hit LHS253 if you want to see the new White Dwarf star
