Just got a mail from Oculus

Hi Matt,
We know you're anxious to receive your Oculus Rift and apologize for not updating your order status sooner. We've been working through an unexpected component shortage, and unfortunately, that issue has impacted the original shipping estimates for some early customers.
We're working hard to get up-to-date ship windows, and you should expect to see your order status updated on oculus.com by Tuesday, April 12. Although many Rifts will be arriving on schedule and in line with original estimates, we'll be covering shipping and handling costs for all orders placed through today.
We're shipping rifts everyday. Don't hesitate to reach out to the Oculus support team if you have additional questions.

I was due an April delivery. Anyone else received similar?

The saving grace is that my DK2 is running so sweet I can handle a delay.

Bit of a shame, but very good of them to cover the shopping costs of ALL orders to date, even ones that haven't been, or won't be, delayed. That's going to cost them a pretty penny.

One advantage of being owned by a multi billion dollar company. They'll be just fine!

I'm due a free cv1 for kick starting, but it dosent even show a shipping date at all, just TBD which is annoying, I'd buy a vive if it was going to be june or july but need to know the shipping date as i would have to sell the cv1 to get back the money.

Can't wait but to be honest the DK2 works so well with Home I'm as happy as I can be to wait. I'm holding back on buying any new games or accessing too much of the free stuff in home until I get my CV1. Just playing ED and as of last night (hoorah!) a bit of Project Cars.

Just received the same email as the op, although mine isn't due to May but very nice of them to pick up the shipping costs
