Powerplay Cycle 15 Ranking, the titan is sinking

Finally my in game stats updated, and ALD is back in Turmoil, and dropped out of 1st position.

Not sure what Antal did wrong, I thought there was a fair chance they would move above us.

Everyone else out of Turmoil, good job Torval and Sirius

Oh, so that's what happens if Hudson undermined Arissa for once instead of Sirius and Mahon. Took them a while to realize.

Antal got this problem... takurua is out in the middle of nowhere and some is fortifying it. -106cc. He got some trolls.

I don't PP personally but I do enjoy reading these reports, thanks for posting.

Might have to give it a try after the beta.

Hmm. Mahon was hit with 1.34 million undermining merits this cycle. The 375k that Arissa was hit with wasn't taken from Mahon.

Seems they got caught with their pants down as the saying goes. Too busy wasting effort against Kumo. :D

All of the undermining was done in the last hour or two of the cycle, not really much you can do about that. If ALD over fortifies (systems that aren't undermined) we end up with a ton of surplus and lots of prep systems that end up costing more than they bring in.

Merit grinders don't care if they waste all their fortification/prep on bad systems, because the rank 5 bonus completely negates needing to be in top rankings for a good bonus.

Interesting. Stats weren't published yet at that time.

Let's see how it goes this week then. I really wonder who has such a big meat to settle with us for no reason.

Aisling just did 300000 less undermining to the kumo crew last week, I wonder where they went instead?

Really? 375,000 undermining merits in the last hour or two of the cycle? Just what kind of player base do you think powerplay has?

A lot of the key damage was done in the final few hours. e.g with 5 hours to go Tewi was only 5% undermined, Caria 17% and Birite 27% (according to reports Birite jumped all the way up to 101% in just 20 minutes in the last hour of the cycle). Knowing that those three systems were under heavy attack would have made this last cycle much more interesting with frantic last minute fortification (I would probably have stayed up to help, rather than going to bed), instead they get fully undermined in the final hour or so with no chance of stopping it.

Yeah, it's entirely possible to carry around the merits for hours and even days before handing them in. As long as FDev doesn't give us historic data from throughout the week (after the cycle), it's impossible to know when a specific system was actively undermined vs handed in.

Hudson, ALD and Aisling are almost on the same level, with Hudson ofcourse being the best. Because his bad positioning he has more effort to maintain his rank. And he is federation alligned. Federation is the best argument. You are always right if you say federation because federation is federation. Federal? Comprendre!

If ALD had put more effort into fortifying rather than massive amounts of wasted undermining, it wouldn't have happened was what I was pointing out. The real problem ALD has, is too many grinders who don't actually give a damn about what happens to their faction, and that is FDevs fault.
