Kaine's Reach: A Swords of Makhai Update

This last cycle was a great success for MAKH, who celebrated the fortification of Dagr, their minor faction's home system. This comes after months of moving Kaine's influence to Nobles of Dagr territory near the Wyrd system (over 100 light years from Tionisla).
A member of the Swords of Makhai was asked at what moment they knew this ambitious plan to 'bring Kaine home' would succeed:
"I think when we fortified the 14.6 billion population system of Aura in the Councillor's name! We knew then that anything was possible if we work as a team."
Anonymous sources had previously implied that this venture didn't have unanimous backing from Kaine head office, with fears it could cause tensions with other powers as the Swords made their way through. However, the path taken was painstakingly planned and meticulously executed, causing zero hostility as they threaded the needle through uncontested space.
This bridge not only bolsters Councillor Kaine's presence on the Archer and Grom border, but also helps to connect trade routes with other remote Alliance systems left behind by Mahon or cut off by rival power's territorial creep. The Swords will now reportedly turn their attention to "strengthening the bridge" as they double back towards the old worlds, acquiring whatever else they can.
The Swords of Makhai's dedicated Kaine strike team 'Vorpal Wing' is also recruiting ahead of spreading the Councillor's word even further. One Wing Leader commented:
"Protection of the Tionisla sphere is critical for a strong foundation moving forward sure, but that's not our expertise. We'll leave that to others more suited. Vorpal Wing is committed to the protection of every independent system that needs our help, no matter where in the bubble they reside."
A reporter followed up by asking what they thought of being called the 'rogue expansionist military arm of Kaine'
"Hell yeah!" He answered "We'll take that."
