Hello Commanders!
My name is Mace, and you might know me as the Press Secretary for Aisling Duval Comms. I'm stepping in for Hunter this week.
Here are our goals for this week, cycle 324:
We hope to see you on the Aisling Duval Comms Discord server!
And now, here's your Weekly Cycle Recap, bringing you all the news from Powerplay for last week, cycle 323--
AD’s vote rocked it at 82% in back-to-back weeks. Keep those votes coming! It’s easy and important. HIP 5C hauling continues to malinger around 200,000 tons per week, which leaves our options open. Our haulers continue to work the Trello, keeping our most valuable systems safe from federal interference. Remember: fortifying the wrong systems can actually harm the power if we get undermined.
The Empire’s underminers were very busy last cycle. Our imperial allies killed Hudson’s expansion in HIP 95350, saving AD over 50CC, while AD hit a wide swath of Winters control systems. By cycle’s end, Felicia had so little CC left that she couldn’t expand from Orisattu. Well done, everyone! The line holds! Winters may have held onto her turmoil system, Nunuri, but 28 federal systems will secede next week after New Kuwembaa Labour gave the feds what for.
It was easy to miss, but Torval pulled off a caper last cycle: she expanded into Trepin, a profitable weapon system against Hudson! The PvP effort there bore all kinds of interesting fruit. The feds’ new and highly effective PvP tactic of looking for expansion haulers in rings (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/233400619409342465/875293870575996958/unknown.png) helped them close the gap, undoubtedly. AD PvPers from KOLT and ANGL blockaded the nav beacon for hours on Wednesday, denying the feds the opportunity to rush merits at the last minute while killing a few UMers along the way. When the dust settled, Torval had won by just 150%, or about 13,000 opposition merits. Congratulations to them!
A week with no federal victories is a good one, in my book. Whether you’re hauling for the Princess or opposing the feds’ expansions: fly safe, and see you next week!

Here are our goals for this week, cycle 324:
Vote for Consolidation! Voting is the most important thing you can do for AD, so make sure to maintain rank 2! Here's where to vote in the UI.
Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello!
Do NOT prepare systems. If you want merits without helping the Princess, please only fortify Karsuki Ti. The pickup is Cubeo.
Oppose Hudson's weaponized expansion in Kuangwutja!
We hope to see you on the Aisling Duval Comms Discord server!
