We did what we said we would, and more. Alongside a broad coalition we attacked the Federation with c.2.2 million undermining merits, an amazing effort. Hudson is on fire, with eight systems in turmoil, two more than our planners anticipated; few expected Zemina Torval’s expansion to Baxbakaeris to succeed. Go Granny!
Mr Hudson might reflect on what has given rise to such unity, and infectious enthusiasm for the fight across many groups. Further attacks on Felicia Winters, for the third consecutive week, restrict her options and stopped the expansion to HIP 51228. Some consolation for the Feds: Grom’s expansion to Iah Bulu was narrowly defeated. Powerplay is the main event right now.
The Feds consolidated and fortified, rather too much.
We note that many fewer merits than is normal were hauled to HIP 1572 last cycle by the 5C forces that plague us every week. Hudson’s control system Anlave was undermined by the Feds themselves, red-teaming, not us. Thargoid attacks that have some Federal stations burning were coincidental, but fitting.
Our haulers were otherwise engaged. The Trello was near completed. Warm thanks to you all. Our consolidation vote fell slightly to 79%, still safe. Without solid defences the current offensive would indeed be “foolish.” We can expect counter-attacks in the coming weeks so it is essential to keep our guard up. Without our haulers we are nothing. If you have been pledged for 4 weeks or more, please consider earning 100 merits this week so you can vote.
To the supporters of the Princess, our allies and friends: that was an epic week, awesome. But nothing significant has yet been achieved. We must keep this effort up in the coming cycles if we are to achieve our objective: to free Mr Hudson of his ill-gotten gains.
