The third week of our offensive has been successful. Hudson lost the four control systems turmoiled last week: Polecteri, Rati Irtii, Tsohock and Epsilon Pavonis. Seven more Hudson systems are now in turmoil: Rho Capricorni, Benanekpeno, Insubii, Onduwatya, Allowini, NLTT 46403, and Skardee. Congratulations to all pilots, and there have been many, involved in this ongoing operation. We are not finished yet.
Our friend Yuri Grom delivered a further blow to the Federation with a successful expansion to Iah Bulu. Elsewhere, the Feds managed to thwart Zemina Torval in LHS 1067. Pranav Antal expanded to the loss-making system Hidar, for RP reasons in an effort to “provide military and humanitarian aid to the Marlinist colonies.” Once again, we had no part in the blanket fortification of Hudson’s remaining spheres, which we understand has been the cause of some frustration for our opponents.
Our own fortifications progressed more slowly, leading to a determined effort to repair our defences in the last days of the cycle. Fortunately there was no coherent undermining effort against us. We are grateful to Cmdrs who were dedicated to this essential task. Our consolidation vote picked up a little, reaching 81% by end of cycle.
Voting remains hugely important in these times, and takes little effort. If you have been pledged for 4 weeks or more, please consider earning 100 merits this week so you can vote.
