We attacked the Federation for a fourth week. Hudson lost seven control systems, including Skardee, a control system that cost him 1.3 million merits to win, some time ago. Also lost were Rho Capricorni, Benanekpeno, Insubii, Onduwatya, Allowini, and NLTT 4640. On the chopping block this week are Hyades Sector GH-V D2-1, Kanus, GCRV 2743, Phra Mool, LTT 9795, Mariyacoch, HR 2776 and LTT 15574. Our coalition was also able to undermine Felicia Winters sufficiently to balance-cancel her attempted expansion to U Carinae. Thanks and congratulations to all associated pilots on another huge effort.
There were interesting events elsewhere in the Powerplay bubble. Li Yong Rui is also in a nasty turmoil. He risks losing Betel, HIP 20577, BD+49 1280 and Maikoro this week. We wonder who will claim responsibility for this attack? LYR public orders say “enemy sabotage.” Edmund Mahon continues to repair his position and has expanded to Andusiani. Pirate lord Archon Delaine snapped up Hudson’s old Col 285 Sector CY-N B21-0 with a surprising 250,000 merit bomb. However our Imperial allies were successfully opposed: Arissa Lavigny Duval was denied Bevan’s Hope and Granny Torval failed to take LHS 184.
The effort our haulers make, week-in week-out, to keep our defences strong has received less attention recently, but they doggedly progressed most of the way through the Trello, with some experienced pilots returning to action and some new faces making their presence felt. We are keen to expand our UPPS carrier service to assist Cmdrs in fortifying some of our less accessible locales. If you are interested in getting involved with your own fleet carrier, please contact [EUWC] Alexander Severus or [AD] 3ra on the ADC discord (link below) to be roled as UPPS-Operator.
Thanks to these efforts, and a very solid consolidation vote that finished the cycle at 82%, the more intense 5C hauling activity to the dreaded HIP 1572 had no effect. Voting remains hugely important in these times, and takes little effort. If you have been pledged for 4 weeks or more, please consider earning 100 merits this week so you can vote.
Here’s a good-faith suggestion to make it possible to identify 5th column sabotage, in light of recent controversies: have a station bounty board showing the top 5 Cmdrs who have turned in merits at that station? This should make it possible to distinguish Cmdr RandomSimp’s 750 from Cmdr SoloBot’s 150,000.
The Princess conveys her heartfelt affection to you all as we steel ourselves for another week on the offensive. The Press Office is still on the look-out for spectacular screenshots and footage as we continue to make Powerplay history. Please share your best stuff with us. Fly safe out there and remember to have fun!
Objectives for the week ahead (Cycle 364, until May 26th).

- Vote for Consolidation! Voting is the most important thing you can do for AD, so make sure to maintain rank 2! It only takes 100 merits and four weeks of pledge time. Here's where to vote in the UI. Early votes are the best kind of votes!
Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. Please, ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello! There are lots of top-priority systems left to help complete.
- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to Na Chac Og.
- Oppose/undermine Felicia Winters' expansion to Lei Kax. Check our discord for up-to-date combat targets.
- Join the Discord for guides, mentoring, insight, BGS and combat targets! Remember: PP UI bad, Discord good. Powerplay is a community game, so connect with us.
