A successful week too in combat. The main battle for ZYADA was to stop Hudson’s expansion to Koljak. Winters was still licking her wounds after last cycle’s big effort, she did not seriously push Panorua. Grom alone from our side attempted expansion, his bid to grab Wadir was exposed therefore to insuperable Federal opposition.
Hudson’s media presence has been sporadic of late (reported security paranoia and the repression of religious freedom aside). We learn in a recent communique that 30k 5C merits derailed his plans to attempt four expansions in the coming cycle. Meanwhile we fend off five or more times that amount every week trying to trap us into an unwanted expansion to HIP 1572.
The best defence against sabotage is the consolidation vote. Last week’s vote was more stable, rising from 77% on Saturday to 79% by end of cycle, but hardly comfortable. Voting is the easiest and most powerful way to help. If you have been pledged 4 weeks or more, please earn or keep at least 100 merits so you can vote.
A wise blue manatee says, “imagine what we could do if our 5C was as low as theirs.” We now have seven Federal expansion attempts to keep us busy. HIP 95350, Caspatsuria, Mislika by Hudson, Winters pushes HIP 44811, Misisture, Baal and, inevitably and for maybe the 9th time, Dongkum. Antal is unlikely to push LHS 2819 but this move means Hudson has less to worry about this cycle.

- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to HIP 35209.
- Combat merits: oppose Zachary Hudson’s expansions to HIP 95350, Caspatsuria, Mislika and Felicia Winters’ expansions to HIP 44811, Misisture, Baal, and Dongkum.
