Aisling’s pilots were able to overcome various threats in a challenging cycle. First and most fundamental was defending our consolidation vote, which dropped to 74% on Sunday, raising the prospect of an unwanted and damaging expansion.
Each week 5C (5th column, or ‘enemy within’ of hostile Aisling pledges) pours prep materials into HIP 1572, a system so close to Cubeo that opposing an expansion cycle would be near impossible. Since August, another sabotage target has been Sif. Last week more than 200k merits were hauled against us.
So we again called a prep-blocker, HIP 35209. It would be another bad expansion but possible to oppose should the vote have failed. In an heroic hauling effort, loyalists pushed the blocker ahead of both 5C systems, delivering c.150,000 additional merits, whilst also completing the fortification of our top priority profitable spheres.
The vote recovered to 76%, but it would be better to avoid the hazard. Voting is the easiest and most powerful way to help. If you have been pledged 4 weeks or more, please earn or keep at least 100 merits so you can vote.
Next, seven Federal expansion attempts to combat alongside our ZYADA allies. We stopped Winters again in Dongkum, Baal, Misisture and HIP 44811. We stopped Hudson in HIP 95350, Mislika and in his main effort Caspatsuria. We also won an important BGS war on behalf of the Cartel of Yaso Kondi in HIP 51748. Bravo!
In reality the Feds were also looking to defend, making a big effort to stop Granny Torval’s expansion to LHS 184 against very favourable triggers. Antal made no effort to push LHS 2819, a feint performed as a favour to Hudson.

- Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. Please, ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello. There are lots of top-priority systems left to help complete.
- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to HIP 35209.
- Combat merits: oppose Felicia Winters’ expansions to Panorua and Lazdongand.
