The Princess has been amused that we have been accused of ‘panic-fortification’ by the more active (and entertaining, it must be said) of the Federal Press Agencies. No, we aim to fortify deep every week, and this was another excellent cycle in that regard. Aisling’s indefatigable haulers again completed forting all the top and high priority spheres, and were again getting stuck in to the medium priorities by midweek. We are grateful for such powerful hauling support.
Federal undermining attacks continued, though we struggle to discern their strategy. Jaaka, Perktomen, Ts’ai Shai, Areklici and Duro were all cancelled. Attacks on Simyr, Asurasairu and Gally Bese were not completed. Our consolidation vote remained rock solid too, finishing the cycle at 83%, keeping us safe from a 5C expansion. Strangely, the bots took last Thursday off, but were back at it the following day to make 150k tons of deliveries to HIP 1572 over the week.
The powerplay bubble remains in stalemate. ZYADA easily buried the only Federal expansion, Winters’ weapon Hou Yangk. With no expansion for the first cycle in many months, Hudson’s efforts mostly focused against stopping Uncle Yuri once again in Wadir. Most other powers consolidated.
Speculation has been growing about which systems in the bubble will be hit by the approaching Stargoids. An HQ system could certainly shake powerplay up. Meanwhile, Winters has set her sights on Dongkum again, and is already pushing hard.

- Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. Please, ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello. There are lots of top-priority systems left to help complete.
- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to HIP 35209.
- Combat merits: oppose Felicia Winters’ expansion to Dongkum and Zachary Hudson’s to Caspatsuria.
