Unexpectedly, Aisling’s Angels found themselves hosting a community goal in the important Murato system. Improved AX multicannons required numerous commodities to be delivered. In a sign that FDev is struggling to scale the difficulty of the new bug invasion, it took only 30 hours to complete the goal where 8 weeks had been allowed. A further mistake in offering the top 10 contributors a mere CR800k reward?
With Power-players still getting used to the big split between live and legacy galaxies, it was a fairly quiet week in Powerplay. The only Federal expansion, by Hudson in Polecteri, was easily defeated by ZYADA. Vote control has become an issue for many powers. Other expansion attempts, not all of which had been intended, failed too: Li Yong Rui to HIP 35448, and our fellow Imperials Denton the Beefcake to Caph and, once again, Granny Torval to Pollux.
It has become clear that Thargoid attacks will indeed influence Powerplay. Boffins noted population shifts in the affected areas of LYR space, with his control system HIP 20577 under assault. Li Yong is in a self-inflicted turmoil. It remains to be seen where in the bubble the rest of the approaching maelstroms will hit.
However Aisling’s redoubtable haulers remain undaunted. Again they powered through our top and high priority fortification list, keeping our defences strong. We were grateful too to our electorate for another stable consolidation vote, finishing the week at a solid 81%. 5C hauling to HIP 1572 seems to be coping with the transition, racking up a little over 150k totally wasted merits. We see no sign of any Federal ceasefire against us for the greater good.

- Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. Please, ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello. There are lots of top-priority systems left to help complete.
- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to HIP 35209.
- Combat merits: oppose Federal expansions to Praavapri and Caspatsuria.
