3308’s season of goodwill saw scenes reminiscent of the ancient history of Sol, when in 1914 soldiers of opposing armies from old Europe emerged gingerly from their trenches and dug-outs to exchange gifts in No Man’s Land. Fed and Imp Powerplay pilots dabbed the caustic damage from each others’ brows, discussed ongoing BGS conflicts, and the oddly focused attention some die-hard groups are devoting to powerplay in the legacy galaxy.
For now, the truce in the live galaxy holds. Imperial Xeno Defence scored another tactical victory, in support of Uncle Yuri Grom. Magnificent efforts in supply hauling, rescue missions, and AX CZs prevented Thargoid control of HIP 8525. We now move to save the last salvageable outpost under attack by the Hadad Maelstrom in the Bi Dhorora system.
We enjoyed another great showing from Aisling’s haulers, determined to keep her defences strong. Top and high priority fortification targets were yet again completed, and few of us have greybeards long enough to recall a better week for our consolidation vote, which finished the cycle at an astonishing 89%. Forting and consolidation remain essential during the truce. If you have been pledged 4 weeks or more, please earn or keep at least 100 merits so you can vote.
We appreciate that vote control is an issue for some powers, the truce makes allowance for ‘prep-blockers.’ On principle we will oppose Winters in Caspatsuria this coming cycle, where she faces deeply unfavourable expansion triggers, and also Antal in Unjangen. So combat merits are back on the menu.

- Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. Please, ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello. There are lots of top-priority systems left to help complete.
- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to HIP 35209.
- Combat merits. Oppose Felicia Winters’ expansion to Caspatsuria, and Pranav Antal’s expansion to Unjangen.
- AX: this week’s prime Imperial Xeno Defence target is to assist Bi Dhorora. Evacuate passengers, kill thargoids, complete AX CZs.
