In a week without very significant developments in Powerplay, the headline news has to be Aisling’s magnificent haulers again completing the entire Trello fortification list. Bravo. Our consolidation vote remained strong at 86%. Many thanks to you all. We are ready for whatever happens next.
What will that be? This was supposed to be the week when the truce was up for renewal. Although summit talks over at the Defence Council of Humanity have continued, quietly, this has not yet occurred. We are waiting for the outcome of internal Federation polling to be revealed. In true democratic fashion they have been working out what they want to do, in a ‘non-binding’ way. To fight the thargoids? Fight the Empire? Or, and I’m not joking here, fight themselves?
It would be inaccurate to see the truce as some sort of armistice, BGS wars have continued unabated. Complex strategies are at play here, and the ZYADA alliance did win four wars of particular importance to us in Col 285 Sector QE-M b22-3, Gendini, Tiralya and Karbudji, where intense PVP battles with the Federation were reported.
It has not escaped our attention that some Winters groups in particular have developed a close interest in the lost realms of the legacy galaxy. Though players with no other option have our compassion, and these events do hold some abstract interest for us, we won’t be going there.
A message from Cmdr Andalyn of Aisling Wing Command: “We’ve noted with slight bemusement that the Feds are posting legacy orders and recaps on Reddit. We encourage ALL Federal players to spend more time in legacy mode. It is certainly time well spent.”
It would be better if the truce really was freeing up more resources for AX, given the current emergency. We can’t fault the aliens’ determination, though their imagination is lacking. Imperial Xeno Defence defeated the ‘goids in Muruidooges for a third time, with numerous other groups also re-fighting battles in familiar systems.

- Vote for Consolidation! Voting is the most important thing you can do for AD, so make sure to maintain rank 2! It only takes 100 merits and four weeks of pledge time. Here's where to vote in the UI. Early votes are the best kind of votes!
- Check the Trello for dynamic fortification targets! This is updated more frequently than the in-game menu. Please, ONLY fortify systems listed on the Trello. There are lots of top-priority systems left to help complete.
- Please do not prepare any systems this week. Spare media materials can be safely delivered to HIP 35209.
- Combat merits: by the terms of the Powerplay truce you can also undermine Lei Kax. Please do not attack any other Federal systems. Pilots pledged to non-Imperial powers are welcome to undermine the Aisling Duval control system Areklici.
- AX: the first Imperial Xeno Defence target this cycle is to assist the liberation of Bi Dhorora. Evacuate passengers in cabins and wounded in pods, complete delivery missions, kill thargoids, complete AX CZs.
