Powerplay Faction: Archon Delaine CYCLE 452: Watershed

Ahoy Crew!

This week we open our bulletin with some [good] news (perhaps already known, but still important) for all powerplayers: FDEV has in fact announced that during the summer (if all goes well) a new version (2.0) of the Powerplay will be released. Nothing else is known about this new version, what will change and what will remain of the current game mechanics. In any case, what we hope is that whatever it is takes into account the original objective of the powerplay: the direct confrontation between players, or groups of players, for "territorial" control. The update should then let the players feel engaged and remain committed to the ethos of a power, without deviations and structural exploitations that today have stuck some powers in the gravitational orbit of others. WATERSHED HAS TO BE! Moreover they have to consider that for some, Powerplay is simply bringing fortifications or preparations from A to B in total relaxation, watching Netflix or listening to music in solo/PG (this is not a criticism, but unfortunately this approach has distorted the very element of confrontation at the base of the Powerplay). The discussion would be long, they also need to think about module shoppers... but let's move on. In fact, among the new features there will also be new ships, new weapons (anti-XENO?) and other [hopefully] interesting things. Back to the current situation, things have been going well for the scoundrels... Mrs. Diavoli has made friends with other infamous pirates and several tons of booty have arrived at Harma. There are Some updates also for the other powers: the beautiful Duval decided to skip expanding to ADEO and aunt Winters managed to take HIP 43299. With the rumors about the ferocious fighting around B2 Carinae... there's more meat on the grill for the current cycle: the blue-haired damsel is targeting Itelmens, the sleepy bearded lumberjack tries to weaponise HR 7294, the happy lady looks to go again in Dongkum, the musketeer to Hoder and the granny launches another weapon to LHS 184. There's enough for everyone!!!

Please even if they are not the most easy targets stick to our planning and possibly contribute for your quota early in the cycle.

4-BACKGROUND SIMULATION

The Kumo Crew only supports these governments: CONFEDERACY, COOPERATIVE and COMMUNISM.

And no, we do not support Anarchy government type (it's about game mechanics and not giving our tasty Rating 5 bonus to everybody). Bottom line: all our CMDRs with Rating 5 have the whole Archon Delaine's domain at their disposal, not risking any security/bounty/fine constrains (even in ground operations!). 4a - LOOKIN' TO ADOPT A PMF?

If you are looking to manage and build up your own "player managed faction" (PMF), feel free to contact us as we have identified a number of Archon Delaine's favourable "abandoned PMFs". Some of them are in control of a bunch of systems, others have only their HQ and hence they have to start everything from scrap. We encourage and support cooperation with players' groups within our space, when our interests match.

4b - RUNNIN' A DELAINE'S PLEDGED / PIRACY SQUADRON?

Don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to be part of the biggest "criminal cartel" in the Galaxy... we can share the best trade routes where to rob haulers, systems where to commit crimes, support in case of need [cops are tackling ya?] and so on... you'd be enjoying the fun of winging up with other criminals like you aARRRRRRR!!!
