Above are the merits from the raw data for cycle 54.
Hudson didn't have any expansions, but ALD did so dominates the total merits.
Delaine has what would have to be the highest proportion of his total merits in his expansion.
There was no opposition to all the expansions, so most of these merits are gone on the effective chart.
Winters was undermined the most, but it was a very little amount, and most was on lower income systems, so was probably collusion piracy not real undermining.
The top chart underneath shows the total merits by cycle in pink.
There was an uptick in total merits from the week before, since expansions were actually allowed last cycle, unlike in cycle 53.
I wasn't aware that all combat expansions were broken in cycle 52, I thought it was just the Delaine and Antal expansions which were fixed in the last 12 hours, but it seems the expansions from ALD, Hudson and Patreus were also giving away free merits for all of cycle 52, so all of these merits are suspect, and are not a good indication of PP participation.
I thought the expansions were unallowed for all powers while Delaine and Antals bugs were being fixed (quite funny to think that now) but it seems the broken combat expansions were not the reason for no expansions for all powers in cycle 53.
The blue line in the top chart is the total merits less that weeks expansions merits, to give a better idea of the merit trend.

And in the bottom chart the breakdown of total merits by activity is shown.
Opposition to expansions and undermining have not recovered from the 2.1 patch.
You can see the free merits bump back up the expansion merits, but not back up to cycle 52s level, but there were no expansions for Hudson or Patreus, but Antal and Delaine expansions did run fro the whole 7 days.
This cycle the free merits are still ongoing at the combat expansions, so more automatic (although most ALD and Hudson expansions were already automatic) expansions will go through this week.
