Introduction
It was a good week in Powerplay for Archon Delaine. We opposed Aisling in Lusonda, stopped a 5c prep and arranged a peace treaty with one of our most bitter enemies. More on that later, but good job. Very very proud of you, particularly those who helped in the last few hours before cycle tick.
Fortification
We still had issues with fortification and that’s resulted in more CC than we want. We’ll need to choose our preps carefully this cycle. It’s been difficult to figure out which of our systems are going to be fully undermined and which aren’t - primarily because it’s not coordinated right now. Our discord will have this cycles priorities.
Preparation
This is where the shout outs come in. I made a mistake on asking to prep Nauo. It didn’t have a large landing pad and that caused problems for getting massive preps hauled there. The result was our regular 5c (whoever you are) put 8.5k into Apteti with about 5 hours to go until cycle tick. Otto Von Grim, Last Assassin, AnDiesel, Ionheart and myself were able to prep two other systems above it which meant we don’t have it to deal with this cycle. Good job.
We do have more CC to waste this cycle, so stay tuned.
In the meantime we will be prepping Kartam to win back our Lusonda sphere.
Expansion
No expansions this cycle. We successfully opposed Aisling’s expansion into Lusonda during the last cycle, WELL DONE - which means we can now prep Kartam. So get prepping!
Other Information
Since the treaty debacle with the Imperials a few cycles back we decided not to do a treaty with the Empire as a whole in future, but to make any cease fires etc. with individual powers. We have been working behind the scenes to arrange a more formal cease fire with Patreus, which they have agreed to. It will last for a minimum of 10 cycles. They will not undermine us, we will not undermine them. They will also not oppose our preps and expansion into Kartam and the Lusonda bubble. They have posted the agreement to the treaty on their reddit. We will post it to ours and to our discord. I think this will hold.
