Newcomer / Intro CYCLE NEXT FIREGROUP - PROBLEM

Help!
For me, the program no longer recognises my keybind for 'next fire group'
This is not a problem with the keybindings per se - I've tried 'reversing' the effect of the keys, but the only one that ever gets a response when I press it is 'PREVIOUS fire group'
Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening...?

Is this while in flight or when docked?
I have noticed that only one of the binds work when docked but both work fine in flight. As to the cause:

Yes, that was exactly the problem - I was DOCKED, preparing to go mining with half-a-dozen firegroups defined, but they would only cycle one way
I launched and both keybinds started working.
(it wasn't always like this, but I've just come back to the game after a break)

Yes it has always been the case that previous group worked when docked - seemingly the fact that it worked was a bug, never corrected.
