Cycle Ship Specs - give me a button to click!

Hey all,

I'm in Outfitting trying to get used to the new layout. Docked at my carrier I'd like to see the total Shield Strength and Hull Strength of a ship of mine. Previously, I'd just hover over the Shield and Shield Strength would show down the bottom, or hover over a Hull-related item to see total Hull. A little clunky, but it worked. With Odyssey, we have a "Cycle Ship Stats" option, which I assume, as it appears to have four tabs, will give such information. All I need is to press the "Cycle Ship Specs" button which is currently "????" unmapped.

I've had a quick dig through the control mappings, I can't see it. There's no "Outfitting Screen" mapping section and I'm not going through every control, expanding it to check. No. Nope, ain't gonna happen...at least not tonight lol.

Why can't we just have a Cycle Ship Specs BUTTON we can click with our Mouse / Controller of choice? That'd be really nice. I mean, does such an option really deserve it's very own button mapping when certain key Modules we use in Fights do not? I don't think so.

Anyway, mini-rant but intended to be a little tongue-in-cheek, it is just a Button we're missing after all... :)

Scoob.

Yeah, like you said about the bottom left, where there are little left/right arrows with tabs between them.

I don't know why that's not an interactable asset, click on the arrows to scroll or click on the corresponding tab to go straight to that informational sub-screen.

Mine was mapped to [[/]] for some reason (another thing I don't get is the doubled up punctuation and symbols going on there - backslash also shows as \\ in my bindings for Thrust Up which still doesn't work upon login after the update I might add. Strange stuff).

I'm glad it's not just me. I've just spent ages wading through the control screen and can't find anything :cry:

Ok, I've sussed it.

From options, go to
-> General Controls
-> Interface mode
and assign keys to Next Page & Previous Page.

Why have I just had to spend 20 minutes scrolling through options and swapping bind files, with no guidance/documentation to help? :mad:
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Even my neighbours heard my swearing)

I have a different approach: I bind everything, especially those controls whose function I can't understand from the name/description, making sure that there are no conflicts.
When I'm in game, I then hit every button or key, until I see something happen! 😆

Well, thank the Lord Brebus that there isn't (yet) an eject function.
