LostWinds Cyclone HELP

I love the game! Am super frustrated at trying to creat a cyclone in part 5 of Summerhill pass.I need to create a cyclone to make a cloud to get the water from one pool to the other. I have tried everything. HELP.

Have you had the Cyclone tutorial? Are you able to create a cyclone at all?

To create a cyclone touch the screen with two fingers and gust upwards with both. Although it won't created a cyclone if you haven't gained the power yet.

I have tried everything to make a cyclone, to no avail. Possibly I do not hVe the power yet? How or where do I get the 'power' to do so?

Micheal, I just noticed you asked if I have had the cyclone tutorial. Only when I entered the Summerhills Pass area, changed the season to summer, and came upon the small pool did the cyclone instruction came on the screen.

That's just a hint (and a reminder about the control) that you need to use the cyclone for the next bit.

If you quit to the main menu and look at your save game, you should see five icons below the name of the area. Are the second and third icons white?

I restarted the game so that I could go back to the room before, and found that I had just flown over the switch area, where I could gain the cyclone power. Thanks for your help. Love the game!!

I made the same mistake. But my game got saved in the bad state. Is there any way to repair the save game file and enable the cyclone power?

It is indeed possible to fly over the gap in the Shrine of Twisting Wind and get into the next screen where you are stuck between two doors and without the cyclone power. This design bug is especially problematic on the iPad version of the game, which saves itself fairly continuously. I killed the app, but it did not revert to the previous room when I relaunched the app.

Try reloading the save from the front menu. There is no way to modify a save game.

The new update should prevent this issue from happening. Unfortunately it won't fix the problem if you've already experienced it. You can try getting Toku killed, that should reset him to a sensible position.

Michael, THANK YOU. Letting Toku die once put him back at the last save statue in the Shrine of Twisting Wind, and this time I got the cyclone power and could move forward. Thank you for your help! Can't wait to continue this fun and artful game.
