Cylon/Geth life forms in ED?

I wonder if the technology in ED universe is advanced enough that an AI faction could spontaneously appear and decide to kick humanity's collective bottom...
Battlestar galactica... Man I hate that series...
Well geth are in the mass effect universe and the cylon in the BSG (2003 is the best IMHO)
anyway there are AI in the game , not any currently I would like to see a race of AI ships like the xenon from X , and sins X started off as an elite clone it would be fair for elite to take the xenon (I mean the kha'ak lore was allmost the same as the thargoid)
