CZ - How to pick a side?

Ok, I jumped into a Combat Zone (CZ) but no idea now how to pick a side to fight for. The HUDs are all different. Used to be right panel, last tab, top option.

Any thoughts?

Fly into the zone (You usually drop 10k short) and a dialog appears in your chat

It now appears on your comms panel, and you can't miss it, but sometimes it doesn't.

Yep, found it. Although just targetting and shooting the 'enemy' faction does the same job, so no real need to select a side anyway (and that might have been the case pre-3.3, just I'd learned to go and pick a side first). I think now I'll just check Contacts tab, lock an enemy ship and start firing.

But yes, I see if I tab around the chat panel I can select the MF to fight for.

Turns out from another thread that although my "shoot first" (to determine red/green sides) seemed to work, by skipping the actual pick-a-side step via the Chat HUD I've missed out on earning Bonds. Useful to know.
