I think it's fairly obvious, thats where most of the "shared resources" are going at the moment. I'd imagine that QA time is 95 percent in jwe. They can't disappoint universal, after all, this is the studios big break.

I'd probably do the same in their position. I FDev gets JWE right, they're going to move pretty far up the industry food chain; as far as ED is concerned, well they know we're going to complain no matter what they do, so they may as well go for the big score :)

Let us consider something. Most people probably find this out through other player's posting. Nothing in game talks about it. I had no idea about it myself.

Honestly - all info about new additions I learn from forum posts. Even info there was some official YT trailer. Last time I saw ED related trailer it was about Chieftain and only after I actively searched for that.

Other games I play and that use their own launcher feed me news, trailers, trailers of trailers from the launcher level, weeks before the event. ED - on the contrary. Patch comes, game updates and... for me nothing happens. If not forum posts I wouldn't even be aware that Thagroids attacked, Chieftain is available for purchase, and now new stuff - Guardian tech.

You say - GalNet. Well, for me it feels like small announcement on the 17th page of a local newspaper that is on free distribution in your town hall. It's there but the range is very limited.

It's going to be a super duper RNG'd war zone USS but otherwise it's going to be business as usual and no one will even notice anything is happening just like with the Thargoid NHSS...

None of it makes sense because for us to do something like dday we need hostile space to invade. We already have a human foothold in Pleiades so unless they release a list thargoid colony systems there's not much people could do with such a resistance message. Remember dday was attacking German occupied territory, not some simple raid on enemy patrols.

On flipside, if the message isn't aimed at the anti xeno movement it could be a signal for a civil war or opposing Aegis. Not enough context right now.

Edit: let's not forget also there's probably some rich foul person who can send up satellites to troll people, I mean that's probably what I would do with the extra money I have if I could. It reminds me of anchoring containers in EVE named with antagonizing messages.
