Looks like the free remake of Daggerfall, the best game of the TES series, is coming along nicely.

I have been following this for quite a while. Just a headsup seeing as there seem to be a lot of appreciators of good old games here, but a forum search surprised me by coming up with nothing apart from a previous post of mine.

I was aware of Daggerfall XL, but its nice that progress is being made. Well worth keeping an eye on.

Also of note, there is an unfinished Arena project, will it's dev return to finish it? Time will tell.

I forgot to check on the progress of this, so thanks for the update deMangler. Another project I will need to chase up is Frontiers, another Daggerfall-a-like.

I adored Daggerfall and is one of my favourite RPG games I have ever played, right up there with Wizardry 8. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. I hope all the sounds effects are still in there as they were. It amuses me no end when I am watching a TV program and recognise one of those sounds, from a door creaking open to one of those weird animal cries you hear when in a dungeon.
