Okay, I'm probably going to get my knuckles rapped by the mods for posting this here but I need some sympathy from understanding Elite fans.

I'm really <insert swear word> mad about this, I was so looking forward to the launch tomorrow, not to attend but to watch the stream, I was excited and really looking forward to seeing it all and then...

about an hour ago my wife announces that she met some long-time friends when out today and she's arranged us to go out with them tomorrow night. WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!

You can imagine my feelings.. I'm, well I can't put my feelings down here because I'd get in trouble but I'm pretty livid right now and I'll be at some restaurant all night with a pair of boring people whilst you all enjoy the fun and hear the news.

I am NOT happy one little bit.. very VERY miffed indeed. I hope they make a download version that I can watch when I get home.

Pull a sicky!

Either stay at home in bed or go out and have a bad case of something when out, you could be in the toilet all night, watching on your phone or sumet

At least between the cold beers, snacks and stream while downloading the gamma build

the launch isn't until the 16th of december and we'll most likely get a full whipe on that day anyway? Few more weeks to go out with friends (and your wife) and not miss the launch...
