Why did I just find out through the newsletter about the audiobooks? Here I am mining and exploring with so-so music and dry audiobooks when I could have been listening to audiobooks about Elite with sound effects. I bet you have even more goodies your not letting out.

I bet you have the following items all for yourselves and not sharing

1. Miniature models of all the ships in the game
2. Location of the Thargoids home planet and their plans for conquest
3. A special setting that allows you to change the computer voice to John Inman as Mr. Humpries from AYBS
4. A bumper sticker that says "You play Elite like a damp squib"
5. Drew Wagar's next 5 Elite Dangerous novels in leather bound hardback with gold gilded print.


It might be my tin foil hat needs to be loosened up or the 4 cups of coffee that leads me to believe this but I don't see anyone denying it, yet. I bet MI5 knows something.

Am I ashamed at watching these? Heck no, and I even pledged to keep them on PBS.

Actually, we each have David Braben's personal line so we can phone him up and have him read out the audiobooks in real time whenever the fancy takes us.
