Newcomer / Intro Dangerous Arena

I'm told I must purchase for "Open Play" "Private Group Session" and "Solo".
I have of course purchased Dangerous.

I also tried running Single Player Combat Training- was buggy.

If these things don't work or are redundant why are they here? :)

Thanks..

Alex

It depends on where you purchased Elite Dangerous, and on which platform you're playing. On PC, before you get to the screen you showed, you go through the launcher - how does that one look like?

Otherwise, try https://customersupport.frontier.co...eem-Elite-Dangerous-to-continue-or-Demo-only-

Thanks for the response, I've updated my signature to clarify my specs.
The screenshot I attached in my previous post is shown via navigating to:
Steam -> Game launcher -> Elite Dangerous Arena -> Continue.

I have no issue playing Elite Dangerous or Horizons. They are authorized.

Thanks.

........

Since you are " Elite Dangerous Original Backer playing on Windows 10 via Steam" - then that screenshot would indicate that you are not signed in to your Frontier account.

Well that is because you have gone into "Arena" - CQC - seems it takes you in there without logging you in to your frontier account.

I don't "CQC" so I have never seen that.

Oh to add, I originally had a Frontier account. I did not purchase via Steam. Steam was linked afterwards.

I added it to Steam after I purchased. Everything works except what I describe in my Orginal post, I am playing Elite Dangerous when I select Elite Dangerous or Elite Dangerous Horizons via the launcher. The issue is with the Elite Dangerous Arena option (see original screenshot attached).

Nevermind...

Issue is fixed.

Procedure.
1) Log into account.
2) Click Partner keys (https://www.frontierstore.net/frontier_partnerkeys/)
3) Observe account is linked to Steam.
4) There are two buttons. Claim key for Elite Dangerous: Arena (Steam) and also Elite Dangerous (Oculus Rift), click them.
5) Then activate the keys.

The Arena key works in Steam.
Oculus Rift key works on the Ocular website one assumes.

Futher info:

Hahaha - spoke too soon!!!

This installed another instance of Elite Dangerous arena, added a shortcut to steam and still have the issue (screenshot attached).
(Just to reiterate, Elite Dangerous and it's own key is installed and working on steam, this is just an Elite Dangerous arena issue).

Tried logging out and in again... no dice.

I'll raise a ticket.

I think I get it - because Arena (a.k.a. CQC) is (may be intended as) kind of starter drug to get people into ED. FD never bothered to remove the links from that page to the full game.
