I think any competent British Actor in the late thirties / early forties age group. There has been a lot of speculation about American Actors vying for the role, it has even been said British born Idris Elba has been asked, personally I think he could be an excellent Bond villain, but JB should be non colored. (I am trying to be non offensive to others but it is difficult not to sound it.)

I think Roger Moore and Sean Connery era was the time the Bond movies were at their best.
The Bond franchise always has different actors for the main role after a few movies, so now it's time to give someone else a go.
Let's hope it's not another "Skyfall".

So many great British actors out there I think Bond should be played by a Brit but look at how many massive American Iconic characters have been played by Brits recently; Batman, Superman and Spiderman to name three.
Love Idris in Luther brilliant actor but as Bond? not sure. Similarly Tom Hardy fantastic actor but no again, they don't have the right persona for me.
Before Craig I thought Clive Owen (Sin City) would be a great Bond. Still think he would.
Tom Hiddlestone would be a good Bond as well.
Hmmm Craig for me was the best Bond, but Connery had the best films...and Moore had Jaws
I'm a big Idris fan, but not sure he'd work as a Bond, he'd have made an awesome Jack Reacher though.
