General / Off-Topic Daniel Craig will not play the role of James Bond, even for 88.5 million euros

Whoopi Goldberg ticks many boxes if they're looking for a Bond that's quite different from all the previous ones.

I think James McAvoy would make a good Bond. Robert Carlyle would be great, but as he's already played a villain in the franchise, I think that'd be a very long shot.

I want Fassbender. That's all i have to say. Other than that i'm ok with a black guy (ELBA), but not a woman, no way, women have plenty of action icons, Ripley, Connor, charlies angels, and more i'm sure.

LOL, I'd pay double to go see that!

I love the Bond films, have been watching them since Dr No (which remains on of my faves), I have to say I have never really liked Craig, he didn't seem to fit imo. of the recent ones, I found Brosnan to be the best and most believeable bond. Connery remains my favourite bond but some of Moore's films are my fave ones, even if I thought he played it a little too tongue in cheek.

also I have to say that imo we missed out on possibly the best bond ever, I think Michael Billington would have been a superb bond. (he was tested for the part many times)

Yeah, I also thought Brosnan was a good Bond, way better than Timothy Dalton (remember him?)

Of all the Daniel Craig Bond films, Spectre is by far the best IMHO. I've never been a fan of Craig himself though, partly because the wife thinks he's the hottest thing this side of the sun [sour]

Timothy gave an impression of fragility

I think he was given the role to boost the female viewers. His 1st one, was basically a 'chick flick'.

I'd like to see Idris Elba get the role, he's got that presence the role needs and would be more representative of 21st century Britain.

Putting a Russian into the role would be closer to the true, I think.

From 1962 to 2015, six actors have played James Bond in the series produced by EON Productions. The rule imposed by the Broccoli family wanting that the interpreters of the role arise from Commonwealth ---- James Bond has been played by a Scotsman (Sean Connery), an Australian (George Lazenby), an Englishman (Roger Moore), a Welshman (Timothy Dalton), an Irishman (Pierce Brosnan), and an English again (Daniel Craig ).

It has to be Usain Bolt then?

No idea: He is Jamaican; which is a part of the British Commonwealth and Ian Fleming had an infinity with Jamaica.

Ah ok, I thought that you were referring to the victory of Usain, at the games of Commonwealth to Glasgow in 2014 on the 4x100m. Well, with the Jamaica, Ian Fleming and the games of Glasgow, Usain has all the qualities to play James Bond

:)
