Dark/Colourful Reshade preset

Here is a preset that makes the game a lot darker and more colourful and adds a glare effect which might be annoying to some people. You can disable it in the settings under bloom->glarez. You can find the slider comparison pics on the download page

Installation Guide

Step one: Go to the reshade download page and download reshade 3.0.6
Step two: Find the downloaded file and click it
Step three: Click select game and navigate to EliteDangerous64.exe (Which is for me D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64)
Step four: Select Direct3d 10+ as rendering API (Which it should do automatically most times but click it even if it is selected)

Step five: When selecting effects just leave them all selected and click okay. After downloading the effects it should say succesfully installed.
Step six: When starting up Elite it should load all the effects which you can see in the top left corner. when you are at the main menu hold shift+F2 to open the Reshade menu
Step seven: You will be asked to create a preset which you can do by clicking the "+" icon and giving it a name and then pressing enter
Step eight: You will then be asked to select effects which you can skip by clicking continue.
Step nine: Navigate to the preset you download and open it. Copy everything inside and then open the preset which you created in the Elite dangerous folder. Overwrite everything in there.
Step ten: Enjoy!

This is fantastic, thanks so much for making it available.

I've always wanted 'true night' on planets so I loaded this up and headed to the nearest planet to check it out. Unluckily I managed to approach the planet from the night side and the preset works so well I didn't see the planet until it hit me in the face. No harm done though, it proves it works! Thanks again :)

np :)

I have only loaded it for about five minutes and not flown anywhere, its the time of day when the sun is pouring trough the front windows, which is nice but knackers any chance of getting a good look at stuff.

But first impressions are its way too blue for me, I use a blue hud so its all bleeding into one, I do like the dark feel of it tho, makes you feel more inclosed somehow. the only other I noted was the blur, I never really liked that on mine.

I will continue to test and try and give it a flight test later :)

Looks really good. Can't wait to try it out when I get home tonight. +rep [praise]

Tell me how you find it, everything helps to make this preset better (the blur should be easy to turn off, just disable tiltshift and try turning of DPX and see if that helps with the hud)
