While i haven't thought that really anything else in this game is like anything in the show, the forthcoming Chieftain did strike me as instantly being very similar looking to the Raza (mostly because of its' engines, though an in game Raza would be more like an Anaconda or a Corvette, though we'd ideally have player controlled capital ships in Elite, even if we had more tough, relatively small ships like it'd be in this game*).
On the show, overall its' very good and i enjoyed watching it around or not long before Syfy (i miss the channels' old, normal name, the Sci Fi channel

...) put on series of the relatively similar show, Killjoys

.
*On what ships an in game Raza would be more like, it'd hopefully be more like X3 Reunion's Hyperion (and specifically the original version of the ship as the first M7, before it was downgraded to an M6+ in TC) and Terran Conflict's Vidar - small, tough ships which punch above their weight, but which still lack the overall firepower and cargo space of an M2 etc, but can still destroy bigger ships easily, one on one, but perhaps not take on entire fleets, on their own as a proper capital ship can carefully do

Firstly while the show starts off very good, its' story and original points wanders a fair bit in the second series, though mostly recovers in the third, particularly with the fleshing out of the Android's character - unfortunately Syfy recently left the show on a cliffhanger, then cancelled it, so short of a film to finish it off or another channel picking it up, it'll never get a proper ending, but that happens with many shows, but doesn't stop them being worth watching :_ .
Indeed while you and others mentioned Farscape, i watched the series on Netflix, but it didn't have the two part mini series/DVD episode which finished it off, which last time i checked was available in full on Youtube (where i indeed had to watch it, though thankfully i could and hopefully people still can

.)
Slightly bigger spoilers ahead, though they still don't spoil a massive amount...

They annoying kill off one of the main characters in the second series, then introduce more characters which they then kill off or barely use themselves afterwards, while they half wrote out one of the shows' main characters in the third series, though they thankfully didn't completely get rid of them altogether...
Still, i'd give the show about an 8/10 overall, but like so many shows/things, it had the potential to be brilliant, it's still very good
