VMX is a voice controlled music utility which runs on VoiceAttack and pairs nicely with Elite to provide context driven music control for either your own music playlists or music which myself and Miguel Johnson compose in the form of soundtrack replacing Music Packs. The project has been running for over 3 years now and I'm grateful for the support and love from the community for this very unique utility. A completely voice controlled, easy to use system, only a small number of commands to take note of
Add your own music and playlists and assign them to in game events, you can assign and change them even while playing the game
Add Music Packs which are automatically assigned to the most appropriate in game events with beautifully scored music by both myself (Angel) and Miguel.
Output track information to OBS Broadcaster and other software (inc. track name, artist and context mode status
Choose whether music should change strictly when in game events change or have them allow the currently playing track to finish first, or set a timer (perhaps to ensure a whole album plays)
Internet Radio system- lets you easily grab internet radio addresses from the web and add them, auto assigns preset names and yes... you can even assign internet radio stations to events
Combine music packs with your own music
Auto decompress and install system for Music Packs
Lovely spoken voice feedback system (TTS voice also an option)
View the contents of playlists and navigate around them with ease
Built in update notification system
Jump to tracks and playlists easily, navigate through tracks with next/previous track, fast forward, rewind, pause
Procedural music system- VMX composes music on the fly with Audioblocks system from tiny snippets of audio- very unique system providing months of music in itself
All music licensed for streaming use, play and forget
There's so much more. This is a full time persuit for me, an enormous amount of time and effort has gone in to the project. Some of my favourite utilities such as EDDI work fine with it.
