Dark Rides in the Dark

Do not know if I misunderstood when I heard this or not, but is there a way to make your dark rides dark now in the studio pack without setting your entire park to night time?

Is there a workaround to fully darken a ride? (In time)
Right now the max is 30 secs, but repeating after 30 secs doesn't work. Also 30.5 secs is no option (for example).
How can I darken a ride for like 120 secs?

We need a duration of darkness that can be set for the length of the ride

OR

We use a 2nd trigger to take it back to 'real time'

Okay, I'm a noob, I admit it !! I went into the rides trigger sequence, and I still do not know how to do this. I could not find an option for "time" Can someone walk me through this !!!

What you want to do is drop a time machine sequencer in the ride, set that time to desire time ( i prefer 3 am just to be sure its super dark), then go to triggers on the ride, Link it to the Time machine, set a new trigger at the beginning of the dark ride, make sure it is set to activate trigger ( activate will keep it dark for the duration of the ride)
