So I was cruising around last night and then I run into a system where the star was completely black. Has anyone else seen this or was it a freak bug?

The system map showed a nice orangey star with a smaller white star not far away. But outside all I could see was nothingness. Then I of course crashed into it because I had no idea how close I was to it!

Sorry I didn't get a screeny, but honestly there was nothing there to see; just black

Not sure what type of star it was as I was in my combat ship at the time

Sounds like a NS, but more likely a WD that was off screen, they have a pretty large crash radius too.

Black Hole, with prob a Neutron Star and a G/K/M Class Star nearby.

I dont know of any NS or BH close enough for a combat ship to stumble into, thats why I suspect WD, there are plenty of those

Found it again. It's the Devi system. It says it's a class M star, but I can't see it at all... just the white dwarf next to it
