Darling, I'm home!

My fellow explorers,

long has it been and even longer was my stay out in the black. On December 16th 3301 AD I first set out to explore the Corona Australis dark region and later I joined the Distant Worlds expedition. And how very distant those worlds were!

The voyage was fantastic and not short of wonders, dangers and surprises. On September 6th 3302 I finally arrived at Beagle Point with quite a few detours. I then took an anti-clockwise turn, crossed the Styx and entered the Orio-Persean Conflux regions, heavily inspired by its nearly mythical remoteness.

Soon, I was fascinated to witness the wonders of human endeavor when I reached the Colonia area, and I then took my time to follow the frontiermens' trail back towards the cradle of mankind.

On November 1st 3302 AD I finally called port at Irkutsk, Alioth System and look back on nearly a year of exploration and sharing my impressions with you, my fellow explorers. If it weren't for sharing all our labours, it would not be the same.

So now, I am looking forward to having a shower, a beer and a bit of a nostalgic view of Barnard's Loop. I know, the Sea will call me again... soon.

As always, fly safe CMDRs!

Congratulations, Andrew! I've followed some of your journeys in the mapping thread. You've made an astonishing number of first-rate contributions to the galactic map; well done CMDR!

Welcome back Cmdr...I'm sure you'll enjoy all the bright and shiny new things that are available in the bubble now.

I hope your darling was still home when you got there...you have been gone an awful long time ;)
