Darwin Park Zoo

Hi All,
Just wanted to share some screenshots of my sandbox project, Darwin Park Zoo. The building architecture and animal roster I used for the park is based of the Bronx Zoo, one of my nearby zoo's. Also, I took some pointers from the responses to the post I made about the best animal for my entrance, so thank you to everyone for their insights. Hope you all enjoy what I've built so far!
(P.S. i purposely made myself stick this zoo out & take my time since I always get a quarter or a third through what I want to build, don't like how something looks, then end up scrapping the entire file & start over. So I made sure this time to take it slow and stick it out)

Here first is our entrance area - has a main entrance hall with 4 exhibits, bathroom, & shops inside. I chose to put billboards advertising some of the nearby habitats so guests didn't spend
too much time in there. Also had gift shops on the outside, and signs to direct guests to specific habitats.

Once outside, the entrance hall, you end up in a small food court that opens up to a small fountain (I had to to fill the weird gap of space) Directly behind, I put our bactrian camel bachelor girl herd. To the right of them down the path, our male llama herd hangs out. I ended up putting the flamingo pond to the left of the camels, and have let them breed, so currently we're up to 28 birds in the flock. If you continue past the llama herd, you'll hit the lake that leads to the bison, grizzly bears, and sea lions.

Now we pass the bison field, with our large breeding herd. Featured is our little albino calf, the last to be born in the herd. Keep walking along the lake takes us toward the grizzly bear girls, who have a nice cave and pond in their habitat. Going past them brings us to our current popular animals, the sea lions. The picture I showed of their habitat doesn't actually have them in it - sent them all to the trade center while I redid the land space for them & to allow guest to see them close up

Hi PZ people, just wanted to drop an update on my project. I caved and started over (although i said I wouldn'!) but decided to start over a little differently, and I can firmly say i actually like how its turning out. Stay tuned for some snapshots i've taken so far.

So, we first start with the entrance area with alot of signage and a welcome center/hall. Inside, we have 2 spider exhibits and a habitat for the first zoo residents, the komodo dragons. They have access to an indoor & outdoor area, but spend most of their time inside. Also some guest amenities and advertisements for the zoo can be found in here. As you head towards the back, you reach the main court, with food/drink vendors, with some habitats surrounding a pond. (I have named pelican pond, in case we ever get birds, and we get pelicans, that's where they're going).

Making a right off the entrance area, you'll pass some scenery and buildings. Buildings mainly advertising animals and habitats throughout the zoo, & a statue honoring our first Fallow Deer, is also seen on this path. Continuing onward, you'll first see the large field housing our breeding herd of bison on the left. The herd currently has multiple generations on exhibit. The fallow deer habitat is to the immediate right as you continue around the bison habitat. I opted to keep certain species as bachelor groups in order to cut down on the amount of breeding I would have to stay on top of.
