Data Link Scanner in Fighters

Hi, would it be possible to get a data link scanner in fighters. I like the idea of role playing as a hacker breaking into ships and stations computer networks. In the Deus Ex games there are mini games for hacking computers. I'm also a big fan of the Watch Dogs games. I think it might be fun to be able to use a fighter to stealthily do short range infiltration of networks while the mother ship is a safe distance away. The hacking mini game could include the ability to do it without setting off any alarms if the hacker is skilled enough. I work in IT and one of my hobbies is in IT security. So I understand some instances requires physical access to a system. That being said, trying to use a recon limpet controller isn't practical in a small ship where i have no room to put enough cargo space for limpets. Would it be possible to convert the recon limpet controller into a device similar to the surface scanner (or the new d-scanner where it's built in), where it doesn't use limpets but has unlimited "probes"? Or perhaps have teh ability to have small ship or fighters attach it self to a station with a plug or something when a physical hack is required?! Something, anything where I don't have to have a cargo rack to store limpets or even better have it built into all ships, SRV's and fighters. Just some ideas. Love the game, can't wait to see what you guys and girls do this year. 🙂

Hi, i know its been almost a year, but i would just like to second this suggestion! Im out at the Zurara in the Formidine Rift in my Anaconda. Getting to the data links for the audio logs in the conda is a pain in the ass. I brought my Condor along for the ride, would be awesome to jump into it and zip about to access the logs. :)
