Horizons Data point

I discovered a data point. 4 sentinels were guarding the area and i shot those down. I read and saw somewhere that you can scan these with the data link scanner when you are in turret mode. Also selected it as target and i am close enough.
I tried, but nothing works. Are there different ones? This one is "public". Maybe those can't be scanned? Already tried shooting at it, but i cannot destroy it.

Known issue which they hopefully will have fixed asap. You need 'firing deploys hardpoints' set to on or it doesn't work. Also it has to be targeted and in turret mode then hold down the data point scanner button.

Thanks! It worked.

The radio sound was getting annoying while searching the forums. Hopefully they fix it soon, because i don't want to deploy hardpoints automatically.

only time i have to be in turret mode is when i cant aim at the object otherwise. like scanning those high mast things, but those closer to the ground works fine from cockpit
