Engineers data points

How to read data points? used to be alt fire button, cant find it in options since the latest patch. And does fire allows weapons to deploy still need to get it to work? Any help plz

In SRV it has to be set to a fire group.
in flight, private data beacons should do so automatically, but after 2.1.02 it reads but gives no information... I reported a bug, but haven't heard anything...

in SRV you have to switch to Turret mode, target it,then scan it (does have to be in a firegroup)

(I'm quite sure I've had at least one I've found that I scanned without entering turret mode, but generally I've always had to use turret mode for it to work)

More important question: is there a way to locate efficiently all data points of a base?
Like on the radar for instance?
Because taking down the base defense is a thing...but finding all data points and scanning them on time is another one...I generally fail doing the latter on time :-/
