With so many people spending months upon months away from the bubble doing exploration, I think I would like to see a blackbox module that I can buy on my ship. The blackbox would backup my database and survive if I'm destroyed. Then I have the option of going back to retrieve it, assuming someone else doesn't retrieve it. Anyone who retrieves a database blackbox can turn in whatever is on it.
So at least those people who spend a year away doing exploration then died in a random crash have the option to fly back and retrieve their blackbox, and of course if some random pirate blows you away and see's you have a blackbox, they essentially mght pick up a years worth of exploration data.
