Old Tv Interview with David Braben from 1988 !

I kinda feel nostalgic today after listening to much to sid music and watching c64 intros.

well sorry its in german language but u can hear David Braben speaking in english.

On this Tv Show most people in the audience were crackers from the C64 Scene Ikari , Triad, Hotline , Radwar just to name a few.

OMG! I half expected people to get undressed while watching this.
Dunno why that is, I was relieved it ended when Markus was introduced
because it looked like the start of the type of movies I don' t enjoy.
The cracka scene sounded a bit racist too even though I understand German and
know what that female skeletor was saying. Interesting that Mr Braben still
sounds the same.

To be fair, DB did not actually meet or even comment on any crackers. Basically, he introduced Elite to a moderator that did not seem to have the foggiest clue and then talked about his new (at the time) game Virus. Finally, he answered the moderator's question if we would still be playing computer games in the year 2000, to which DB gives an enthusiastic yes, but states that he would assume the games to be radically different, more like movies. Also, he hoped that multi-player games would be more of a thing, that gaming would be more social.

The clip ends with the moderator moving on to the next topic, which was about cracking and crackers.
