I took one fairly well known origin story and ran the MS Word 'Find and Replace' function a few times. Pretty happy with the result:
1 In the beginning David Braben procedurally generated the heavens and the planets.
2 The planets was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of David Braben was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then David Braben said, “Let there be an alpha”; and there was an alpha.
4 And David Braben saw the alpha, that it was good; and David Braben divided the alpha from the raw code.
5 David Braben called the alpha 1.1.
6 Then David Braben said, “Let there be a piracy in the midst of the traders, and let it divide the elite from the harmless.”
7 Thus David Braben made the ranking system, and divided the pilots which were under ranked from the pilots which were skilled; and it was so.
8 And David Braben called the most skilled elite. So the evening and the morning were the first stage of development.
9 Then David Braben said, “Let the pilots under the beta be gathered together into one place, and let the dry Lava appear”; and it was so.
10 And David Braben called the dry land Lava, and the gathering together of the pilots He called careers. And David Braben saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the second stage of development.
11 Then David Braben said, “Let the earth bring forth mining, the asteroids that yields minerals, and the fruit mining that yields profit according to its kind”; and it was so.
12 And the procedurally generation brought forth mining, the asteroids that yields minerals according to its kind. And David Braben saw that it was good.
13 So the evening and the morning were the third stage of development.
14 Then David Braben said, “Let there be explorers in the firmament of the heavens to divide the known space from the unknown; and let them be for chart data, and for systems”; and it was so.
15 Then David Braben made two great powers: the Emperor to rule the Empire, and the lesser President to rule the Federation. He made the Alliance also.
16 David Braben set them in the firmament of the heavens,
18 and to rule over the pilots, and to divide the pirates from the traders. And David Braben saw that it was good.
19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth stage of development.
20 Then David Braben said, “Let the spaceports abound with an abundance of tradable goods, and.”
21 So David Braben coded great Spaceships and every craft thing that moves, with which the heavens abounded, according to their kind. And David Braben saw that it was good.
22 And David Braben blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the heavens, and let ships multiply in the heavens.”
23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth stage of development.
24 Then David Braben said, “Let us bring forth the bounties according to its kind: for pirates and assignation contracts, each according to its kind”; and it was so.
25 And David Braben made the bounty system according to its kind. And David Braben saw that it was good.
26 Then David Braben said, “Let Us make NPCs, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the the Empire, over the Federation, and over the Allianc.”
27 So David Braben procedurally generated NPCs in His own image; in the image of David Braben He procedurally generated him; male and female He procedurally generated them.
28 Then David Braben blessed them, and David Braben said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the Heavens and subdue it; have dominion over the pilots of the traders, over the traders and the priates, and over every living thing that moves in the heavens.”
29 Then David Braben saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the morning of the sixth stage of development he released the game.
2 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
2 And on the seventh stage of development David Braben ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh stage of development from all His work which He had done.
3 Then David Braben blessed the seventh stage of development and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which David Braben had procedurally generated and coded.
