Horizons David why did you kill the game rewards !?

Thanks for this beautifull 2.2 release with great content but it became unplayable

Here is my feedback
since 2.2 the rewards decreased by 80% (elite rank data delivery for example) but the insurance / maintenance Remains the same .

The result is pretty easy to understand >>> we can't play the game with our best ship anymore because the time spent to get money it's just insane with that release.

David My question for you

Did you really play your game like we are playing ?

I don't think so and i hope you change your mind about rewards before The players go elsewhere.

It's clear that we can not be in the heads of people and without answers we can only suppose :
So if we want to understand why the missions do not pay since the release 2.2 and until today without any reaction and favorable correction on the part of Frontier we can only suppose that what motivated them.

Less rewards = More time playing

This is undoubtedly the most perverse way to make the selection of players, this is probably the only intelligent way they have found to keep only those who still like something in this game who became totally flat and unpleasant.

I was surprised to see that the number of these kinds of missions have been reduced and that, by my estimates, the monetary rewards have been reduced by 80-90%. ANY of the missions are affected, EXCEPT skimmer and passenger missions.

Even data missions are paying nothing.

If they want people to stop playing, nice move. :(

i believe the general poor pay of all delivery missions is confirmed as a bug!.

I hope so! I can't afford to continue due to ship re-buy. My combat rank and NPC capability dictate I fly a decent ship now just to survive!!

+! Rep, I hope this is a bug and not intentional... data and cargo delivery missions just lost their appeal for me, removing one of the main aspects of ED that I enjoyed doing from time to time.
 
Boards have been broke for some time IMO. I am Elite in everything and hardly see an Elite mission - even prior to 2.2. The boards should be offering tons of missions at the rank players are at. What's the point of getting Elite if they are just going to throw up a bunch of mostly harmless missions on the board? Now they pay peanuts for everything - NOPE! Not taking anything anywhere for less then a Million. Time to shoot or explore till they sort this "stuff" out.
 
+! Rep, sitting here with my ship not deciding to launch for such small rewards.

After a data delivery mission I can moderate my thoughts, I took a data delivery mission for a neighbour system (-+ 5 Ly system then station @~400Ls) for 5000 Cr, when I entered the target system, I got a message that gave me 20 mn to deliver the information that would reward me something like an extra 83k credits. I got interdicted by a Deadly I Clipper that was worth 69k bounty. Succeded the delivery and shot the little annoyment within the given time and got the extra bounty.
Witch is : 5k + 83k + 69k = 157k for a short range delivery plus an extra fighing pleasure in my FDL...

Even without the bounty the mission was worth (If I had ran away instead of fighting). So maybe some low credit missions may lead to extra Cr that makes it worth the try.

I know everyone cant kill a deadly I Clipper depending on the ship you use but I expect the ennemy level to be adjusted to mine. So maybe its worth a try. I'll see with the future missions.

I don't play the game like I assume you do, I have fun and don't grind... I apologise in advance if your not a grinder because assuming things isn't good :p
 
I agree they have dropped a lot. But have you seen the payback on passenger missions?
I saw one to fly to Colonia with 7 passenger and it payed 40 Million. I could take another one that was on the way for another 14 million.
prob a better use for this Python, now the NPCs have ship launched fighters and the ships are still really hard. I hit a ship launched fighter from
an anaconda today and it had no effect even with my modded weapons. Happy Days ;)

maybe a ploy to get us to get into the passenger missions. I may sell all my ships and buy a beluga liner and mod the crap out of it
I enjoyed throwing it around in that mass end of beta battle the other day. welcome to cmdr dibble airlines, a good supply of sickbags are under your seat.
we have some lovely airline food, but you won't be keeping it down if we run into trouble on the way.

I wondered that yesterday after seeing the credits being paid for passenger missions. Maybe a way to force us to try it? Interesting strategy if that is the case! :)

what does means "a grinder" exactly ?

Maybe a player who want to get faster something in game and what the problem with that if the game give him opportunity to realize it ? maybe is that the fun part or maybe not for some others !

Nobody here is talking about how to play for fun ! because I'm pretty sure we don't have all the same fun.

Anyway , admitting grinders are not funny , well done 2.2 solve it !

but we are talking about all "rewards" from Cargo / smugling / bounty / Data missions nerfed in 2.2 and that is not fun at all !

and please convince me why someone decide that the fun for all now, is to play "passengers missions" instead of what we were playing before ?

Ok maybe the problem is with me and i'm wrong thinking that we have all different needs for our fun and I apologise in advance.

Well I hope that it is a bug because the low payouts for missions is just stupid. I mean 4 grand to run 36 units of whatever 3 jumps?    !
