Dav's Hope

Looking for Chemical Processors, and seen several videos and websites where people are informing me I can get them from here. One site even had a diagram showing you were they were on the mining site.

Just been, and nothing. Has anything changed in recent updates/patches does anyone know?

ps. Found some now.. but just by grinding signal sources.

Thanks.

I have just gone there to check (needed to top up some stuff anyway) and even before landing you can see that there were obvious manufactured materials in their spawn points. So maybe you were in an instance with another commander who had scooped the bits - do it in solo and relog to fill up.

Possibly.... There as stuff there... just not Chemical Processors, which many websites say should be there.

I'll head back after and have another san around.

Thanks.

Just had three spawns, yes... The previous 12 didn't. Just luck I guess. Everything I read made it sound like you'd have them falling out of your backside after 10 minutes. LOL

It's random what spawns. but as stated, it has a high chance of them being what spawns. If there are not any, grab what's there, relog, and with a little luck you will get some next time.

If I switch between game modes and do laps around the compound picking up materials, then after a dozen or so laps higher grade materials will begin to drop or at least, that is how it seems to me. Don't forget to scan the data pylon for data each time you re-log.

Davs is my one stop go to for all my G2-G4 manufactured material needs. The one beacon with some G2-G4 data material is just bonus.

Or you can can go to a material trader and get them for some of the materials you do find.
It's easy to find single hop passenger missions offering 5 G5 manufactured mats. That's what I do every time I need anything. Grab a couple of those, the head over to a trader.

Yes, Chemical Processors are easy to get in a number of ways - but he had his mind set on Dav’s Hope so it was only natural to suggest that he traded the materials he did find.

However, Chemical MANIPULATORS do spawn about every second run at Dav’s Hope - so that would get you a lot of Chemical Processors very quickly at a trader.

I usually get them from defeated ships (CP’s), but they are quite common, and I don’t think I have ever looked for CP’s specifically.

I have collected many materials at Dav's Hope but grew sick of it. The materials are not high grade enough. I find that farming High Grade Emission sources is far more productive as they give G4 and G5 materials - maxing out on G5 materials makes material trading easy and more time-effective. If you pick the right kind of systems then you can get the right group of materials to make trading optimal.
eg: Federal systems for Composites
Imperial systems for Shielding
Civil Unrest systems for Mechanical Components
War/Civil War systems for Thermic and Capacitors
Outbreak systems for Chemicals
Boom systems for Heat and Alloys

Don't know HGEs for obtaining Conductive materials but just trade them with whatever I have left.

Also: Farming the crashed Anaconda is good for data and materials too.
Farming Jameson's crashed Cobra is good for just data.

The trouble is that the trade rates are annoying. By filling-up with G2 and G3 stuff at Dav's (assuming you stop before the G4s are full) then trading HGE materials is less onerous as you don't have so many "vacancies" in the lower grades.
