Day 1 patch notes

if FD staff members can spot this just because I work in IT and love a good set of documentation:

Are there patch notes for the Day 1 patch detailing what has been changed/fixed/added and if so, will this be publicly available to read after launch?

Don't need an advanced copy of them. But just to know what exactly has been looked at and changed would both please me to know what's gone on but also would go a long way to potentially quelling complaints and fears that people currently have based on old build footage

(unless of course you're worried that by releasing the patch notes we'll see that all you've done is made the grass greener, but I trust you've probably done a bit more than that :D)

so, just gonna dig this back up and ask again - any patch notes for the day 1 patch?

I fancy something to read while I'm at work and reading how everyone else is playing this while I fix encryption issues on our desktops really isn't pleasing me...

I don't think devs ever release notes for day one patches or at least not very often that i have seen.

If we don't know what was broken/bugged there is no need to tell what was fixed was what i remember one developer explaining why there are no patch notes.

The starting screen said version 1.2. But I didn't see Steam download anything else, usually I can see updates in a list on Steam. Also this game was only 3.9GB for me I believe. It seems like nothing has changed since the download earlier yesterday.

I've seen plenty of devs release day 1 patch notes, and near enough every dev team of games I've played in the last 2-3 years has released the full patch notes with every subsequent patch they've put out. Transparency makes sense and is much appreciated

that explanation you have there is nonsensical. Of course we know what's borken and bugged - we're playing the game! I'm someone who likes to look over patch notes to see if anything I've noticed and wanted fixed has made it into the patch this time

Plus I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (might have been Brett that posted it) that the patch notes will be released on the forums so I wait patiently I guess

Release version could very well be version 1.2; there's no set in stone rule that products we release much be version 1.0, or 1.1.
Likely no day 1 patch, thus no patch notes.

@DazzElle Frontier tend to post notes for all their patches.

That said, it's possible they are holding back on the patch notes until everyone has the game.

well that's all rather strange then. Pretty sure people linked screenshots of Bo confirming a day 1 patch

Anyone from FD confirm this? Yay or nay to a day 1 patch (if yay, on all platforms?) and if there is one then patch notes would be nice

If there isn't one then I can jump in without worrying and start collecting my thoughts on the good and bad. Then we eagerly await the FK DLC
