re-mastered with HD graphics (new hand painted) & high quality remastered sound for modern systems.

It also allows you to switch to the original graphics.

Which is weird when you consider the original game has the original Maniac Mansion as an Easter egg.

The Monkey Island ones were great, originals and remakes. I never really got into Day of the Tentacle but there's one SCUMM game that's crying out to be remastered:

Yep, that was a good one... I used to muck about with scummvm which is a excellent piece of software.

Shame that Lucasarts stopped making them.

I didn't delved much with the point & click genre, even in the old days. Most remarkable experiences I had were with Day of the Tentacle, the Space Quest series (mainly SQ V) and perhaps Realms of the Haunting (my all time favourite, even nowadays, albeit a little outside of this genre) with a mix of exploration, dark atmosphere, puzzles and FPS, with FMV scenes to boot. Guess all of these deserved a remake, even if DosBox with a decent CPU can handle this stuff quite well with image filters and all.
